The Tasman Festival is two days of vintage racing just 30min from central Sydney. This time around there were over 200 entrants and if you ask me, it’s not a bad way to spend a weekend.

I’m sure you can see why I love these events so much. The variety of cars that compete is huge! There is something for everyone.

There were enough head-turning cars to keep most enthusiasts from walking a straight line but the one that intrigued me the most was the #4 Humpy Holden. At first sight, I couldn’t tell which model it was because it had no grille. It turned out to be an FJ (I should’ve known from the hood ornament) running a 6L big block Ford. The sound emitted from the side pipes matched the demonic look perfectly. It went like hell too.
